To ask about your subscription or request removal of your subscriber information, email hello@topdiyplans.com or reply to an email from Top DIY Plans. We retain subscriber details in Kit until they are removed in response to your request or our list maintenance.
Service providers
Our website hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the website and mailing list. Hosting services may process technical request information such as an IP address for security and delivery. See Kit’s privacy policy for its handling of subscriber information.
Advertising measurement and cookies
With your permission, we use Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking to measure website visits and successful free-plan signups from our ads. Microsoft may process your IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, cookie identifiers and advertising click identifiers. Our signup event includes the project name, not your email address.
Advertising tracking is optional. Choose Allow tracking to enable it or No thanks to decline. You can change your choice using Cookie choices on any page. We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal. Declining does not affect access to free plans. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement for more information.
Meta advertising on our video pages
Our water preparedness and DIY home-energy video pages use the Meta Pixel by default to measure page visits and clicks to the affiliate video, unless you turn tracking off or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Meta may process browser and device information, page URLs, cookie identifiers and advertising click identifiers.
When Meta tracking is allowed, these pages pass available Meta click and campaign identifiers to ClickBank to help match eligible checkout visits and purchases to our ads. They do not add your name, email address or payment details to the affiliate links. Both image and Watch Now button clicks are recorded as ViewContent and VSLClick. Each page stores its own advertising tracking choice for Meta and NewsBreak. These choices are separate from Microsoft Advertising settings.
Use Cookie choices in the footer of each video page to turn Meta and NewsBreak tracking off or back on for that page. The choices do not open automatically or cover the video button. Any previously saved opt-out remains in effect. We respect Global Privacy Control. You can continue to the video without advertising tracking. See the Meta Privacy Policy for more information.
NewsBreak advertising on our video pages
The NewsBreak Pixel measures page visits and clicks to the affiliate video by default, unless you turn tracking off or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Both the image and Watch Now button send a Click Button event. NewsBreak may process browser and device information, page URLs, cookie identifiers and advertising click identifiers.
When advertising tracking is allowed, our water preparedness and DIY home-energy video pages pass an incoming NewsBreak click identifier and campaign information to ClickBank. ClickBank can report eligible checkout visits, initial purchases and upsell purchases to NewsBreak to match them to our ads. We do not add your name, email address or payment details to the video links. The existing Cookie choices control on each video page also controls the NewsBreak Pixel and this forwarding. Saved opt-outs and Global Privacy Control stop these page and click events and prevent the page from adding advertising identifiers. These settings remain separate from Microsoft Advertising settings.
Links to other websites
The free PDFs are supplied by Top DIY Plans. The TedsWoodworking offer is a separate third-party product. When you follow an offer link, ClickBank and the vendor may use their own tracking technologies and privacy policies.
Affiliate disclosure
Top DIY Plans may earn a commission when you buy through a marked affiliate link, at no extra cost to you. A purchase is not required to obtain or use our free woodworking plans.
About these plans
Our woodworking plans are original designs for projects around the home and garden. Their dimensions were checked on paper, but the designs have not been physically prototyped or load-tested. Review the materials, hardware and project-specific requirements in each guide before building. Project images are AI-generated illustrations. Follow the dimensions and instructions in the downloadable plans.
